April arrived with lots and lots, and lots, of rain. And, Easter holidays. However, for our LC class that also means language orals, projects and practicals...so a busy time for all. Well done to everyone who surmounted that hurdle. So, we're in the final strait, settling down to some serious study in preparation for June, and looking forward to school trips and better weather...
Well done to all the boys who participated in the 3x3 basketball tournament. Special mention to the winning team of Emiliano, Martin, Rahim and Noah, who also won the tournament MVP, and to Mr. Conor Fitzmaurice for organising it all.

Well done to Ms Anja Sammon who travelled to Tralee on the 28th of March to represent CMMG with the recent SPHE project by class 2C. The class examined different mindfulness techniques including wool crafts and researched their effect on student's positive mental health. Approx 1000 people attended the event, and our work was admired by visitors in the fields of education and healthcare from across Europe and beyond. Well done 2C!

Colette and her wonderful canteen staff have developed a new delicious menu for
CMM Galway , continuing their tradition of providing excellent healthy food for an incredibly reasonable price. Try it out!!

Unfortunately it wasn't the fairytale ending for our Senior Boys Volleyball team as their All Ireland challenge fell short at the semi final stage. Facing a very strong Dungarvan team they narrowly lost out in their bid to make a second National Final this year. Well done to everyone who has represented
CMM Galway this season, especially those Leaving Certs who played their last match for the school. We're proud of you all.

CMM Galway is proud to be participating in the Darkness into Light walk on the 9th of May. We will be starting the walk down the drive of the school which will be decorated with candles in jam jars. We are asking for people to bring in clean jam jars with the labels removed. There will be a collection area in the front hall. Thank you for your support! Full details on the walk and how to participate will be provided soon!
Well done to our U 17 soccer team and their coach Mr. Joe Hall who qualified for the Connacht Shield final by virtue of a 4 - 1 victory over Clarin College
