September in CMMG

A very busy start to the year saw our students take part in a host of different extra curricular events over the month of September.

During the first week our Leaving Certificate class went on a day retreat to Mameen and Gurteen Bay. The good company and great weather greatly helped them to ease into what

will be a tough year of hard work, and was received happily by all. More Photos.

Third Year student Jonathan Echefu represented the FAI Ireland U-15 team at a prestigious tournament in Croatia. Meanwhile, fellow third years Ruth Dossen and Michael Mullaney represented Ireland at the European Boxing championships in August, where Ruth captured the European title and Michael lost on a split decision to the eventual winner, and again in a tournament in September.
