Having given extensive consideration to the suggestions furnished by the Task Group and engaging in further reflection and dialogue, the Joint Patrons have agreed that the name of the new school will be Coláiste Muire Máthair. The name, Coláiste Muire Máthair reflects the unique historical, cultural and community spirit of Galway and the ethos traditions and values of Our Lady’s College and St Mary’s College.
We hope the information will give you a real sense of the many wonderful opportunities that will be available in this new Catholic co-educational enterprise, building on the wonderful strong traditions that have gone before.
